Parenting UK’s Consultancy Service was set up in 2001 in response to requests for specialist expertise, and provides parenting support consultancy through more than 140 affiliated associates. 

Our freelance consultants are able to offer a wide range and depth of knowledge, skills and experience. As a leading body for quality standards in parenting education and support, we are committed to professional development and excellence of service provision.

The purpose of Parenting UK Consultancy is to support all those working with parents to further their knowledge and understanding, clarify their planning, overcome difficulties and develop structures and strategies to deliver effective services. Our ethos emphasises the importance of communication and partnership between all those working with parents to create fully integrated services. Our aim is to build skills and capacity right across the sector and we are always as delighted to train an organisation’s staff for a project as to provide a consultant to undertake it on their behalf.
