Looked After Children
Family Futures works to develop a specialist service for children in adoptive families, foster families and families living with children who have experienced separation, loss or early trauma. They specialise in therapeutic work for children who have experienced early trauma and who have attachment difficulties. They offer a wide range of training programmes, seminars and workshops for therapists, social workers and parents including Adoption & Attachment Courses; Focus on Adoption Courses; It's Only a Baby and Parenting Mentoring Courses.
The Anna Freud Centre
Parenting skills training for adopters is based on the Webster Stratton Incredible Years Programme within an attachment framework.
The course is suitable for professionals who are planning to run Webster Stratton Parenting Skills training for adopters.
Please note that this training builds on the Incredible Years programme and it will be assumed that all participants will be familiar with the programme, having had prior experience and/or training.
