Joint PUK DCSF Conference
On December 4 2008, Parenting UK and the Department for Children Schools and Families (DCSF) ran a conference to share experiences of Local Authorities (LAs) and third sector organisations (TSOs) delivering parenting support projects. 350 delegates came together from a range of grass roots organisations and some of the LAs delivering the Parenting Implementation Project (PIP).
Workshop leaders and speakers from the DCSF explained the governmental framework of parenting support delivery. TSO organisations and LAs presented their projects. These fell into three categories: Fathers, Vulnerable Adults, and Working in Partnership.
A conference report was produced and is available from Parenting UK. Here are the presentations, handouts and documents referred to on the day.
