This position is voluntary, however travel expenses and a lunch allowance or expenses will be provided.
Parenting UK is looking for a volunteer intern to support our business development and fundraising function by helping undertake fundraising research into trust and foundations, government funding and companies. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work on sponsorship proposals as well as draft trust and foundations, government and lottery applications.
The successful candidate will have the following skills: an understanding of fundraising, some previous fundraising experience (paid or volunteer) desirable, strong written and verbal communication skills; computer literacy; strong organisational skills; research experience; enthusiasm and reliability. Also desirable is an interest in social policy.
This is a great opportunity providing work experience for someone looking to pursue a career in fundraising and work in the charitable sector
Required experience:
